Fair Winds cooperates with other academic and research institutions and private foundations to organize major academic conferences and publish the works presented as books, playing a leading role in the deliberation and discussion of public policy.
Hailing from 15 different universities across Taiwan, we are students who are highly interested in Asia and regional-related issues and have been committed towards turning our vision into action. In this highly competitive era, we believe that deep self-awareness, strong community networks, and passion to help others are three characteristics which are crucial to youth of the 21st century. Therefore, in collaboration with Taiwan’s National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) Leadership Program and Fair Winds Foundation, we decided to launch this inaugural “Asian Youth Forum” to focus on issues related to Asia and the United Nations "Sustainable Development Goals."Details
While we cherish our democratic achievements, we realize that the Tsai administration has taken various actions to distance from Taiwan from democracy. In view of these trends, the Ma Ying-jeou Foundation and Fair Winds Foundation are jointly organizing this seminar, in hopes of raising public awareness of Taiwan’s democratic regression, rejecting arbitrary rule, and protecting our democracy.Details

After the rise of Asia in the 21st century, Western liberalism and representative democracy now face a challenge, and Taiwan encounters both difficulties as well as opportunities in the drastically changed global political-economic situation. In order to delve deeper into these issues, the Taiwan Research Foundation and the Fair Winds Foundation co-organize on 2 and 3 June 2018 an international conference titled, "From the Western-Centric to a Post-Western World: In Search of an Emerging Global Order in the 21st Century".Details
